Horrocks Hampton, Lawyers

The boutique law firm of Horrocks Hampton has been in Takapuna since 1980. The principals are Tony Horrocks and Wendy Hampton.

Tony Horrocks has been a practising lawyer since 1973. In those early days, Tony had varied legal experience including considerable civil litigation. However, in later years, Tony has brought his broad experience to bear on specialised aspects of commercial, company and business law, including trusts. He is also a Notary Public.

Tony has lived and worked on the Shore for many years and has always balanced his professional life with fitness pursuits including tramping, aerobics and Shaolin Kempo, in which he holds a 3rd degree black belt. These days Tony is often seen in the gym at Takapuna.

Wendy Hampton, has had almost 20 years' experience as a lawyer and specialises in the areas of Trust and Property Law including Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Contracting Out and Pre-nuptial Agreements, Estates and Wills.

Although originally from England, Wendy has lived in New Zealand since her early 20s. She studied for her law degree at Auckland University and graduated with a double degree in 1992.

When not working or running around after her daughter, Wendy spends time at the gym and running to keep fit, or playing golf and spending time on the beach to relax.
